SENIOR TECH DAY 💻📱🖱️
The Horizons Exploratory Academy will host a Senior Tech Day on Thursday, February 19th at its new school location at 627 Oak Street in Salida. This event is designed to support seniors with technology questions and basic digital skills in a welcoming, low-pressure setting. Senior Tech Day provides an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and get hands-on help with everyday technology.

Cyclists Unite for Alex Pretti
Over the weekend, tens of thousands of cyclists came together for memorial group rides in honor of ICU nurse Alex Pretti, who was killed by federal agents in Minneapolis on January 24. There were gatherings in some 300 cities around the globe, spanning more than 15 countries and nearly every state, including here in Salida. Join Hal as he takes you along.

Rocky Mountain Community Radio’s Regional Round Up

This week on the “Regional Roundup,” we’ll hear about the formation of a new federal agency: the U.S. Wildland Fire Service, and a report on so-called “death cards” found in abandoned vehicles following rumored ICE activity near Vail, Colorado. We’ll also check in on an avalanche training program in Wyoming, and efforts underway to reintroduce wolverines to Colorado. Plus, a look at the dismantling of a beloved gathering place for some locals in Moab by the Bureau of Land Management, and we wrap up the show in Park City with a look at the Sundance Film Festival, the final year the festival will call Utah home before moving to Boulder, Colorado, next year.
