Originally from Buffalo, New York, Matt landed in Colorado 7 years ago and made his way to Salida at the start of 2024. The Ark Valley stuck for many of the same reasons other outdoor enthusiasts would claim, but it was the attitude of the town and the essence of the people that really captured his heart.

Matt’s taste in music evolved over time, as most of ours do. From country, to a hip hop head, to EDM, to pretty much every adjective you can put in front of rock, Matt’s always been searching for something fresh.

With a deep respect for “the classics” and a steadfast belief that the best music cannot be behind us, Matt joined KHEN to further engage with the community he loves and be more deliberate in his consumption of music.
