kHEN wishes to thank everyone that came out Thursday for the St.Patty’s Day Fund Raiser. Your support is much appreciated. 
We were all a bit Irish and there was a lot of wearing-o-the-green! The Groove Farmers were great and the corned beef and cabbage was delicious . And until next time may we give you this Irish wish . . .

Amy Goodman Event was a Success
Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now! appeared for a KHEN benefit at John Held Auditorium in Salida on Saturday, March 5th. The house was packed for her appearance and her speech was very good and well recieved. We wish to thank the businesses and individuals that helped sponsor this rare event and a special thank you to all the people that attended. Thanks Salida, you made it GREAT! Eight Years and Still Cluckin’!
What fun, everything went so nicely, it was a great event! We held kHEN’s Birthday Bash on Sunday January 30th at the Salida Cafe and Roastery. There was music and a silent auction with snacks and a great big birthday cake and the turn out was great. Many of our DJs were able to make an appearance, it was fun to mingle.
