The Arkansas Valley Music and Dance sponsors ‘The Salida Contra Dance’ once a month at the Scout Hut in Riverside Park from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Come alone, with a friend, or with the whole family and enjoy the foot-stompin’ live music of Andrea Earley Coen and Seth Roberts and the calling by Eleanor Fahrney. A dessert potluck takes place at the break and slightly harder dances later in the evening. There is a suggested fee to participate but no one is turned away.
